As host city for eight of the championships, it is essential that Glasgow delivers safe and successful events and a good experience to athletes and officials, support staff, media, businesses, residents and visitors alike.

It’s vital that we continue to function as a city for our 632,000 citizens and local businesses All of this requires the support of everyone – the people who make this city.

City services may change, in certain areas, on certain days, in the lead up to and during the championships.

The council will contact businesses and residents directly to inform you of any alterations and advise on what action you should take to make sure you continue to receive the service.
